The staff was great! The elevator didn't work. I stayed on the 2nd floor and I had a lot of luggage. It was just difficult going up and down and it was raining. The property was clean.

Old building, amenities and furniture. Very limited parking spaces; you can hardly find a spot. Pictures are deceptive. Reality is not as bright as reflected on images. The staff are friendly and efficient, though, but it is the property that matters more which is not encouraging to stay in again even for lower rates.

The TV didn't work properly and some channels were very blurry and at times the sound was garbled. There were a lot of workmen living there and they were loud at night and left to go to work early in the morning.

There was horrible patron noise from down the hall that lasted three (3) hours in the middle of the night, which was reported to the front desk beginning at 2:07 AM and several other attempts didn't end it. (2:00 AM til nearly 5:00 AM), lots of lost sleep. also the elevator did not work for a few days, which is a possible ADA violation.

By the time I got to the hotel and checked in the price had changed by about 15.00 a night. They charge a 25.00 deposit, no explanation what it is for. The carpet is so dirty I left black footprints in the shower. The place is going through a remodel and there was no mention of that anywhere when I made the reservation. Overall not that great of an experience. No amenities. The first night I didnt have even a water glass...

The room is clean but the problem was when my sister went into the shower there was no bath mat and she slid and fall and hit the right side of her rib cage and right shoulder. I booked 2 rooms with 2 beds on each room so I went to checked the other room to see if the bathroom has no bath mat and this other room has bath mat so I wonder why they didn't put a bath mat on our room. I called the manager Diego and told him about the situation that my sister was hurt because she slid in the bath tub while she was showering because it was slippery. He was apologetic and only asked me if I could fill up an incident report and I did. The other thing is there was not enough towels for the 2 rooms each of the room has only two towels and we had to call them to bring up a towel. I hope that they check the room before they let the customers get in the room to make sure everything is complete.

Salinas os a very nice place to stay in the sorroundings of Monterrey. The motel is ok but for this price I think continental breakfast should be offered. The staff is so friendly and hopeful.
