I came to Munich for the Christmas markets and this hotel is in a great location for that, everything is close by and within walking distance. Hotel Du Train was an awesome home base for my time in Munich. The location couldn’t be better — just a short, easy walk to Marienplatz, which made exploring the city center a breeze. There are tons of food options all around the hotel. Check in and Check out was quick and easy. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and has a fun, boutique vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet considering how close you are to all the action.

We didn’t opt for breakfast so I can’t speak to that question. But, the front desk and staff here were so kind and the hotel is adorable. My son said it was the coolest hotel he’s ever stayed in. I liked the residential feel of the street although it was close to everything! We will stay again!

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights during oktoberfest. Walking distance to the central train station, the oktoberfest area and old town is just a couple of minutes away. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Fun and quirky Munich hotel

This hotel has a very cute train theme. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The area right outside the hotel seems to be a party area, and was very loud. The breakfast was nice but pretty expensive for what was on offer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, but if youre on a budget, just walk to one of the many locsl places for breakfast.
