On a positive note, the location and views were excellent. However, we received a call as we were about to step on the aeroplane requesting payment. Surely this should have been done earlier? The light outside the room didn’t work so it was very difficult to see to get the key in the door. There were no instructions on how to get the electrics to work (random small key in a wall box behind the TV). Also no instructions on how to work the air conditioning/heating resulting in us being freezing for two days. On our last day a fuse went and we lost all power in the apartment. There was no problem with our fuse box. We were instructed to go down to the ground floor and find the flat’s circuit breaker. Is that an appropriate thing for a guest to have to do? The apartment was advertised as ‘serviced’. However, there was no evidence of this which resulted in damp towels as there was no heated tow rail. We requested an iron but this was not provided despite a promise that there would be one.
