Helt underbart hotell, bra läge, fina rum, fantastisk service, makalöst bra frukost! Vi stannade 2 nätter och hade en jättepositiv upplevelse med hotellet, resturangen var jättefin, vi hann dock bara frukost där, sedan finns en bar under/bredvid som vi tog lite vin och chark på, också fantastiskt.

When we arrived after a long flight from California we were greeted by the news that our room had been upgraded to the staff's favorite suite. It was a wonderful room with an enormous bathroom--marble with shower and extra large soaking tub. The bed and pillows were perfect. Our first night we dined at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel. It was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious. The staff were all very warm and friendly. All in all a wonderful stay.

First time in Dublin, and if I come back, I’ll stay here again. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade on check in to the suite. Huge beautiful room with huge beautiful bathroom. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. They brought my suitcase up, and back down, very kind. The stairs were a lot but good for me and worth it to see out to trees. Just a block away from Grafton street, not far at all from Trinity College, and being right across from St Stephens Green was the BEST. They were so welcoming. I miss it already. Highly recommended.

The bathroom was beautifully lit, but the towel rack was confusing to use. The elevator was also out of order, making it challenging to go multiple flights of stairs. Despite the elevator being out of service, the staff kindly offered to carry our bags up, which was appreciated.

Great location. Room was clean. Friendly staff. I stayed in room 33 so many stairs to climb with luggage (no lift to top floors). Definitely a room for hand luggage only so might be worth paying extra for larger room if two people staying a couple of nights. Breakfast good. Tip: Wine bar below (Cellar 22).

Room was clean but much smaller than appeared in the Photos. Vacuum cleaner in the narrow stair well was a fixture both nights. Very friendly staff, especially Maria who was helping us hail a cab in the rain.

Large room with modern bath and friendly staff. Good location and fair pricing. Parking was not close and payment complicated. Nearby hotel was suppose to give us a token but they did not have it.We had an early flight but no coffee or breakfast available except in-room. Elevator does not go to top floor.

Hotel clásico en zona tranquila

El hotel es el tipico hotel Irlandes, con decoracion antigua pero con encanto, pero habitacion amplia. Es un poco incomodo porque es un poco laberinto y tienes que subir bastantes escaleras, el ascensor no llega arriba de todo. La cama enorme y muy comoda EL desayuno es a la carta pero esta muy bien. Lo peor es los servicios del hotel, cuando llegas nadie te ayuda con la maleta no te lleva a la habitacion que no es facil de encontrar. El checkout igual es un proceso lento. Me intentaron cobrar de mas.

Decent stay - expected better

The Cliff Townhouse is in a wonderful location overlooking Stephens Green. It's a renovated Georgian house so there are lots of steps - not a problem for me but it's something for others to be aware of. While I had a fine stay, I expected better based on the online pictures and the price point. The breakfast in the Urchin Bar was average and service was really slow. I did dine in the restaurant for dinner (sea bream over black ink risotto - yum!) and it was excellent and the service was great there. Considering the price and other accommodation choices in the area, I'll stay somewhere else in the future.
