Front desk staff were always very polite and proper (reason) why I gave at least 3 stars for service.
Property is obviously an old property with longer-term occupants but was fairly quiet.
Bed was very comfortable, cozy, clean with generally upgraded furniture giving the room and more modern look.
However, the bathtub had a noticeable ring that required a good scrubbing with the rest of the tub not thoroughly cleaned and the mirror poorly cleaned as well.
Light fixture above vanity mirror was so dim, I could barely see. Looked like 1 light tube wasn't working at all and the other was barely illuminating, not enough to be able to effectively take a shave.
After first night, I very politely asked if the bathtub could be cleaned and the light fixed so I could shave. Polite response was that they would notify maintenance.
The bathtub and mirror were cleaned but the bathtub still had remains of the dirt or deposit ring. Light still not fixed. Next day, I again politely asked if the light could be fixed, that I had already asked. The polite response again was that they would notify maintenance.
Light was never fixed.
I understand it's not a Four Seasons hotel but basic attention to detail and sanitation is the least to be expected.
Tried to upload photos for review but wasn't able to do so.
Lastly, the property is located right next to I-4. So, while convenient, I would recommend (not kiddingly) you bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
