My wife and I really never got to stay there that night. Our daughter helped us booked a room at the Marriott for that evening through Hotels.com. I thought we were all set but when we checked in the Marriott receptionist indicated they had no king beds. We indicated that was all right we take a Queen, and she informed us there are no rooms at all. I explained our daughter booked through Hotels.com and it indicated we had a room. She said she was sorry and could not help us. I asked her what we are to do. She said something like --- "Didn't you hear me", not my problem. I said why don't you notify Hotels.com and tell them to stop booking rooms because you are all filled up. She said we don't call them we E-Mail them. I said then email them, so people like us are not thinking they have a room and don't have rooms. The receptionist was almost arrogant and very unfriendly. Our daughter called Hotels.com and explained the issue because we wanted to make s we were not paying for a room that we are not staying in for that night. The Hotels.com phone person was extremely friendly and trying hard to help us. She did call the Marriott herself according to our daughter, and said the receptionist was very unfriendly and hung on her. We ended up driving to the Inn and getting a room there for the night. We like Hotels.com and will continue booking through them. Maybe this Marriott had unfriendly folks. We would think twice booking with them. Thanks for all your help!
