When I arrived in the lobby, I was the only guest there. The front desk attendant was working on the computer and didn’t acknowledge me for about three minutes, not even a simple “I’ll be right with you” or “Just a moment.” While I understand she may have been handling something important, a brief acknowledgment would have gone a long way.
When she did finally look up, she asked, “How can I help you?” I explained I was there to check in and provided my name and email. I also mentioned that I had completed the online pre check-in, but I was told upon arrival that the property was switching systems and hadn’t received my information. I found this extremely annoying,
The property itself could use some attention. I took the stairs instead of the elevator and noticed the carpeting was ripped and dirty. The parking lot also appeared neglected and could benefit from resurfacing or at least a fresh layer of tar.
Additionally, I was charged $33.96 for incidentals, which has not yet been refunded.
On a positive note, the room itself was fine and met my expectations.
