Breakfast was as expected, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The hallways were quiet with no disruptions, and the location is excellent—close to everything Salem has to offer.
On the downside, I was very disappointed by the $27 daily parking charge, especially since this is the same fee charged to non-guests and valet. If this is standard practice for all Hamptons, it’s a dealbreaker for me. Towels were subpar quality, and when I requested an oscillating fan, none were available. Additionally, the hallways on the 4th floor consistently smelled like a mix of marijuana and dirty diapers, which was unpleasant.
On a positive note, the hospitality team was cordial, respectful, helpful, and friendly.
