I booked this room as a last-minute solution, just the day before. Overall, it wasn’t a horrible experience at all, but there were a few things that could have been better.
Positives:
- The room was nice and clean upon arrival and nicely decorated.
- You couldn’t hear any noise from the bar below, which was great.
- Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy.
Negatives:
- The room and bathroom were much smaller than they appeared in the booking photos, though this could be the booking platform’s fault for showing wrong picture.
- The mattress was extremely hard with no top mattress.
- We asked for an extra duvet but weren’t able to get one.
- The wrong Wi-Fi code was provided on the information card in the room, so we had to go down and ask the Reception, which isnt a big problem but still a easy fix on their side.
- They failed to inform us about how to request cleaning services, and we didn’t receive the “Please Clean/Do Not Disturb" sign. As a result, we didn’t get the room cleaned during our stay.
- The window couldn’t be opened, which made the room feel stuffy and poorly ventilated.
- The automatic blinds were faulty—they kept moving up and down on their own.
Additionally, be aware that the area is quite noisy, with sirens from ambulances going off almost every 20 minutes, though that’s due to the location.
While there were no major issues that ruined our trip, and the room was fine, the lack of proper cleaning service due to miscommunication was disappointing.
