Generally speaking, this is a nice property. It's clean, well kept, has good parking, very nice breakfast and breakfast area, and nicely situated with a good view of the lake. And that's where I ran into a problem. I reserved my room through hotels.com and when I checked in and asked for a room with a view of the lake I got a lecture from the front desk clerk stating that if I wanted that view I would need to contact the hotel directly and make my reservation directly with the hotel. This is in spite of paying extra on the hotels.com website for a room with a view. Actually, I guess I did get a "room with a view" after all but that "view" was of the Goodwill store across the street. The clerk didn't even check to see if they had any rooms on the "lake view" side of the hotel and didn't seem to care if I was disappointed with the situation. She was very adamite about telling me that I shouldn't use a 3rd party to make my reservation. If I was hotels.com I wouldn't be too happy to hear about THAT!
