Our stay got off to a frustrating start due to the check-in process. Prior to arrival, the only information we received was the property’s address. We were never proactively contacted with check-in instructions, door codes, or key access information. After arriving, I first tried reaching the owner through the chat feature but received no response. I then had to call the owner directly, who answered and told me the instructions would be sent via WhatsApp. Thankfully, they were sent shortly afterward, but this could have been avoided with better communication before our arrival. The room itself was very basic and met only the minimum expectations.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the lack of functioning air conditioning. Despite setting the thermostat much lower, the room never cooled below 24.4°C (about 76°F) during our entire four-night stay, even though outdoor temperatures exceeded 100°F. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible. To make matters worse, there was loud jackhammering and construction directly outside our room for hours beginning at 8:00 a.m. on both the first and second mornings. When we contacted the property, we were simply told there was nothing they could do because it was an outside disturbance. Between the poor communication, ineffective air conditioning, and disruptive construction noise, this was not the experience we expected, and I would not choose to stay here again.
