Wonderful location to all the things you will want to do and see in Chamonix-Mont Blanc. The historic lodge with its bar, restaurant, and breakfast area were well-appointed and very inviting with a comfortable casualness. The food was amazing!!

Best hostel in Chamonix!!

The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable with an awesome lounge and restaurant area! Abundant free breakfast, and the restaurant is delicious. Ross and the rest of the staff are friendly and very helpful. The lodge is near a lovely little lake on the edge of town that is so peaceful, with great views of the forest and the incredible mountains. Best location in Chamonix. - Fast Check-in. - Very happy with their luggage storage service. Helpful while you are waiting for check in time and in the meantime, would like to go hike or do sightseeing. Clean, excellent views, but noisy.

Clean hotel with excellent views from the room and balcony. Food at the downstairs restaurant was good, however as others mentioned the noise at night due to the restaurant was frustrating. Stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was right above the restaurant, and we could clearly hear music and patrons at least until midnight every night. We did our best with earplugs that the hotel provided, perhaps a telling sign, but struggled to rest in our room at night. Would not stay again unless guaranteed a room well away form the restaurant.
