I stayed at Ocean V for almost a month and had a great time. The housekeeping team overseen by Mr Sanjay and Mr Kavy kept the rooms very clean, all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Reena, who generally cleaned my room left a wonderful towel swan on my bed towards the end of my stay. It was a 5 minute walk to Pereybere Beach and had great views from the rooftop. A negative would be the noise from the road immediately outside the hotel, even with the balcony doors closed. There was plenty for breakfast every morning. The swimming pool was great, however, it doesn't have any steps, so anyone with mobility issues will find it difficult to use. There were a few small frustrations, but nothing major and I would stay here again if I were to return to Mauritius. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making my stay very pleasant.

Personnel très attentionné, notre chambre a été prête plus tôt que prévu afin que nous puissions nous reposer après le vol de nuit, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Chambre avec une magnifique vue, literie confortable. Personnel du restaurant également super. Le petit point négatif : des odeurs persistantes dans la salle de bains.

Good value for money, staff very friendly and helpful. Splendid view from the rooms and the roof top restaurant and pool is amazing with a nice view over the bay. The breakfast buffet had good variation including fruit and pancakes. The dinner was a nice mix of a la carte and buffet.

I enjoyed my 4 nights stay here and will come back for few more nights. The room is very clean. However the room phone is not working and each time I had to go downstairs to talk to the receptionist. It took 4 days and nothing gets fixed. The servers in the restaurant were also rude to me, probably I’m the only Asian woman there. The island has a strong Indian culture influence I'm afraid maybe they talk to women down, I mean some male servers. Women receptionists are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is simple and same each day.

Very nice, food and staff is fantastic. A quiet area, but 2-3 minutes by buss take you to Gran Baie, slightly more busy. To go to the nice beach just across from the hotel, there is a bit of rockclimbing, but worth it.

The rooms are quite worn and would benefit from refurbishment, and there was some mould visible on the bathroom sealant, which was disappointing. Overall cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom areas. The hotel is next to a very noisy street, and the windows are not soundproof enough, so you can hear almost every car, van, or lorry passing by, which makes it hard to relax. Breakfast was fairly average with a limited selection and nothing particularly memorable. However, the dinner was very good, with tasty dishes and good portions that stood out compared with the rest of the stay. There is no direct beach access, which may be inconvenient for guests hoping to walk straight from the hotel to the sea. The pool is very small with only a limited number of sun loungers, so it can be difficult to find a place to relax during busier times. With some updates to the rooms, better attention to cleanliness, improved soundproofing, and better pool and beach access, this could be a much nicer place to stay.

The hotel, whilst clean needs a full renovation. Reality doesn’t match the reviews nor the pictures on the website.The staff however were all wonderful and couldn’t do enough to be helpful. The breakfast was adequate but lacked variety.
