When I checked in I was given a room that had a very strong cigarette smell. I notified the Clerk and she changed our room to a much better smelling room. Everything else was going very well until about 8 a.m. when the Manager's son pounded very hard on our door and screaming like he was going to be abused. I called the front desk and the man who answered, I think the Manager, told me there was no child in the hallway. Since I knew he couldn't see the hallway from the front desk, I asked him to check. So he grudgingly left teh phone, checked the hallway and said that their was no child in the hallway. When my wife and I were checking out their was a young boy, maybe 8-10 yrs old in the hallway. I asked him if he had knocked on our door earlier in the morning and he said yes. I went to the front desk to check out and no one was at the front desk. I had to yell down the hallway to get the Manager's wife attention. I told her about the incident and she just smiled. No apology or concern. I will not be staying at this Super 8 again and will tell my friends not to stay at this hotel as well.
