The “hotel” is a house with few amenities. Despite the listing, it does not offer a restaurant. The staff, while very pleasant, are unable to communicate beyond very basic English (Hello, check-out, etc.) should you not speak fluent Spanish.
It is quite far from Hanga Roa, and the walk at night, via muddy roads, is fairly dangerous with speeding motorists passing constantly. (At night, the nearby park, which is the easiest route to access the island’s dining and shopping area, closes and one must take a very circuitous route through dark back roads to transit back and forth. If you are able to rent a car or motorbike, this is a non-issue.) Should you choose to stay here, I recommend that you not bring ANY food with you. It really can’t be helped, but there are some bugs.
With that being said, this accommodation is cheaper than places closer to the sites, and it is a clear step up from hostels and camp sites. The cleaning staff does a great job keeping the house tidy. Transfer to and from the airport was very well-managed.
