The service at this place was abismal and the accommodations were even worse! I called the hotel 2 hours before check in to let them know I would be checking in late only to be told that if I was not checked in by midnight, my room would be cancelled. After speaking with the manager I was finally able to check in over the phone to ensure my room was reserved, thankfully. Upon arrival, the registration attendant and the housekeeping staff carried on conversations among themselves, ignoring the guests waiting to check in. The registration clerk was sending new guests checking in to rooms already occupied. It was quite the cluster for the two of them to figure out what rooms were available and clean. The door to my room, which was handicap accessible, was so heavy that I had a hard time opening it, and I am able bodied. The AC was set at 62 when we arrived and when I turned it up to 68, it shut off for the rest of the night, with no circulation. The bathroom floors were dirty and the only toiletries were two half empty bottles of body wash and the shampoo and conditioner mounted to the wall. The handicap bench in the shower was broken and the shower head was so high, no one in a wheelchair could have reached it. Fortunately, the lighting was so sparse that I could not see how filthy the carpets or sheets were. To make maters worse, I was charged $224 for a single room for one night.
