I booked two rooms - one for myself (3 nights) and the other for my son. (2 nights)
The staff was friendly/accommodating and the rooms were clean.
However, the rooms esthetics is what caused this low rating.
First, I will report my son’s room. After check in, we had trouble accessing the room with the card. My son went out. When he returned, his room card didn’t work. Earlier, my son had driven over 5 hrs to get there. He was exhausted. I asked him to wait in my room. The desk associate made several attempts to open it. He even retrieved an actual key and tools - no avail. He made several calls to maint - voicemail. My son was issued another room but it was hours before he had access to his belonging. Therefore he couldn’t freshen up or turn in. The new room didn’t have a chair for sitting. We didn’t ask for one.
My room didn’t have a sitting chair but was brought when requested. My refrigerator didn’t work. It was replaced with one from a vacant room - the next day.
The next day, I requested a one night credit for my son’s room as a result of his inconveniences. I was given a form (survey) to complete. There was no telephone number or email provided. I was told mgmt would review it and reach out. No response has been received as of yet.
