The Coulter Farmstead is the absolute best place to stay when traveling with children! There are farm animals to feed, a pool, room to roam; everything you need to be wild & free on vacation & not worried about waking the guests next door. We would definitely stay here again.
I liked the mixture if excellent reading material and being away from the hustle of the city and work. A bit hard to find after dark the first time so be warned. The roosters crowing āgood morningā was a change.
The pool was wonderful it was a unique stay in a barn with goats and pigs and a very friendly cat. Wonderful place to stay. Extremely clean and the air conditioner was on when we arrived so the place was cool
We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. We fed the animals and they let me hold a baby goat! Its decorated beautifully and I loved the soaking tub. The family that hosts is very sweet. Must try Southern Dine while staying in the area. Best onion rings!
We had a wonderful time at Coulter Farmstead. The property is very family-friendly. The kids had a great time playing with the cows, goats, and chickens. They especially enjoyed getting to hold two newborn goats.
Katie and Justice are both kind hosts and I enjoyed learning about the history of the buildings.
The kids also want to mention that breakfast was delicious!
You absolutely HAVE to go here. If you are debating if it is worth the extra drive past the diamond mines, the answer is absolutely yes. This historic town was incredible. The ENTIRE town is a state park with incredibly preserved buildings. The bozeman barn is where we stayed. The family that owns Coulter Farmstead are extremely nice and helpful. The animals were such a treasure, and the pool was pristine. This should be a stop for every traveler in Arkansas!
This was a fantastic stay! If you are looking for rustic with modern accommodations this is for you. Justice is an outstanding host and responds quickly to texts. They serve breakfast for an extra fee, but its worth it if you like farm fresh food. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place... Clean, comfortable and relaxing! We stayed in the small cabin and it's like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences like a cute bathroom, kitchen and AC. Would love to come again!
It was such a beautiful location and Katie was an amazing host! The morning fog, cabins and goats on the property added to the rustic charm. Also - the frozen dinners were excellent from the mercantile shope. We want to come back again!
The cabin was adorable but we got there during a rainstorm and the sidewalk to the cabin was flooded 3inches deep with water. It made for a difficult entry and I canāt even imagine how it would have gone if I had brought my dogs like I had originally planned to.
