This hotel is not safe & I was about to call the police!!
there were dust everywhere in the room and it looked like it didn’t get cleaned for several days. We complained & they said they will send someone to clean but they never did. There was a desk in the room which had a broken glass on the top. I complained about it because it wasn’t safe when small pieces of glasses were everywhere. They accused us by breaking the glass and they aimed to charge us for the glass that we didn’t break. During the check out, they wanted to charge us for the broken glass. we refused to pay and they closed the hotel’s entrance door & put us in hostage. They asked if we Don’t pay the fee, they won’t let us go & threatened us that they can become dangerous and they are capable of doing anything. As a young tourist girl in a foreign country, I was feeling scared & my knees were shaking. I told if they don’t let me go, I will call the police to come. After that they opened the door & asked me to just check out and go. When I wanted to use machines to pay the fees, their machine wasn’t working with international credit & debit cards. We tried multiple credit cards with different machines but it didn’t work. Again they blackmailed us if we don’t pay, we are not allowed to leave.I was lucky that I had a friend in India that I had to call him and ask to etransfer money from his Indian account to hotel’s account. If I had time to stay in Jaipur, I would definitely report a police file against this hotel
