Really lovely food and rooms were clean and comfy. We had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of parking too and the staff were working and friendly. We visited as was in the area to visit the Farmer’s Dog and this was the perfect location.

Great staff. Coffee maker not working. Staff offered to come check it but we were out and about too much. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Two wall hangers each, no wardrobe. Ok for a weekend. No fridge :( Bathroom small, but OK. Great base to visit local places like Witney. Half the price if hotels in Oxford, just 25 minutes. Free parking on site.

Easy parking. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location suited us and although it is close to a busy road we weren't bothered by any noise. The room rate was very reasonable. The only slight downside for us was the food - it just wasn't our thing - but all-in all we were happy with the accommodation - we were meeting friends in Oxford the next day and were just looking for a clean and comfortable bed for the night within reach of Oxford that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I've stayed here a few times because it's convenient, but that (and a comfy bed) are all it has going for it. I've now had enough. The main problems are: - It's on a busy main road and the windows aren't double glazed so traffic can be heard all hours - There is a beer garden right outside which always has groups of drinkers in who stay until closing time at 11pm - The staff are so noisy when shutting up that it's impossible to get to sleep before 11.30pm. - The bathroom is knackered. - No air con - Hand wash in the showers instead of shampoo and conditioner - No breakfast available - they provide a Rice Krispies cereal bar in the room (I'm 46 not 6!)

Mattress was really uncomfortable and there was hair in the shower on the tiles which hadn’t been cleaned from previous people. Also the tv wouldn’t connect to the internet so couldn’t use the smart tv function. The cold tap didn’t work and couldn’t adjust temperature to cooler in the shower. However the decor was really nicely done and the pub/restaurant was nice.

Warm welcome from the staff, large comfortable room, very clean with a large ensuite. Good location close to A40 is a bar / restaurant BUT last orders is 10 o’clock and so not noisy at all after then. The restaurant is BBQ based and I really enjoyed it but might not be everyone’s cup of tea - my meal was excellent and would recommend it. Staff were friendly and attentive (but not too much!) excellent service. One thing to note is that breakfast is not available - although there are several places on the A40 which do a good breakfast. Overall a warm comfortable and friendly place with good food and drink - will use again when I need too.

Good room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good shower! I couldn’t get the TV to work so suggest some instructions should be provided.

Just what we needed after a long day out ....a clean ,comfortable room and the dinner in the bar/restaurant was excellent

Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Whole place feels like it's been fairly recently refurbed and it's "trendy" and attractive. Staff in the pub/restaurant downstairs are lovely and - although we only had some chicken wings as we were heading out for the evening - they were delicious. We weren't aware (possibly our own fault!) that the premises are not staffed overnight and consequently there are no food or drink facilities at breakfast time, aside from the tea/coffee in the room.
