Good place to stay

Economical room. Easy to reserve online. Very pleasant woman at check-in. She noticed we were driving a larger truck with a horse trailer. She offered us a room as close to where we had parked as possible. We are also older, so the room was on the first floor. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and air conditioner blew as cold as anyone could want(and we like it pretty cool).

It was good for the price.

The manager/owner/front desk called 3 separate times through the afternoon and night telling me "We are fully booked, when are you showing up?" I'm not sure if they were trying to get me to either drop my reservation or sell it to someone else, but it really sucked. I reserved the room, I'm going to be there, especially when you call me the first time and I tell you that I'm going to be there. The room was nice, but we noticed in the morning that even though my wife and I weren't chewing any gum, there was a piece of chewed gum on the headboard.

We get there and there is a pool advertised and after driving 3 hours we looking dorward to swimming and it wasnt even functional. Also the staff had no idea how much room was or how much to charge not a bad place would not stay there again.

No plug for the bathtub.

There was no plug in the bathtub, and when I asked for one, they said there were none in any of the rooms. Since a long hot bath after a hard day's work is a major reason I go to a hotel, I gerry-rigged something and got the bath. But not having a service that basic struck me as very strange. Plugs are cheap, of course, so you can bring one if you need it.

Booked a room online through Expedia and showed up to check-in around 9 PM on 11/11/23. I was greeted by an incredibly unfriendly woman behind a plexiglass window with a tiny slot in it to pass through drivers license, payment, etc like a convenience store after hours. I passed through my ID and then she told me I was required to pay a CASH deposit of $50. No credit cards accepted only cash. At this point I left this scam of a motel and went elsewhere. No hotel/motel in existence except for this one asks for cash as a deposit and that was absolutely not specified online. Why would they want a cash deposit unless they plan to keep it? With a credit card deposit they can charge for damages etc. With a cash deposit they would have to walk over to the room with you to look at it before you check out and pay you back in cash. This place is a scam.

Best trip ever!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming motel in Springfield. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and equipped with all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—conveniently close to local attractions and dining options. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with a great variety to start the day right. I’d highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting Springfield—fantastic value and a truly delightful experience!

Worst hotel experience

First the guy working was very rude accusing me that i had a fake id when he was the one who can't read and do his job right. Then he kept yelling at me telling me there were cameras all over and if i brought someone else into the room or even slept on the other bed in the room, they were going to call the cops. Then he gave me a smoking room when i had asked for a nonsmoking. The room reeked of smoke and the bedding had holes in it. It was very gross. Will not be staying here ever again.
