It's suitable for those who like small, cozy, homey hotels. It's within walking distance to the Ubud City Center, and you can enjoy delicious breakfast while taking in the view of the green garden. The towel felt a bit old, so I think it would be even better if they had a new one; other than that, it turned out to be a good time.

The rooms were unique… like a big yurt. Spacious with a big bathroom. The private pool was nice to cool down in after walking all day. Breakfast was at the restaurant attached and there was a good selection. Loved that it was in a walkable area… and there were a few Celiac safe restaurants in the street which was a plus for us.

Such a beautiful property. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Ib Awanawa also know as Gus. He made the trip extra special. The rooms clean and pool area was lovely. Great location to everything central in Ubud. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. After reading the reviews of noise I shouldn’t of worried. No concern. Gardens are also well kept.

Definitely recommended. Ticked away behind the busy streets of Ubud is the Sender Pool Suites. Set in well maintained green gardens the pool villas are an escape from the Ubud traffic. The suites themselves are spectacular, with their circular shape , thatched roof and outdoor bathroom they are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are exceptionally happy to help with logistics , tours or general advice on the area. We used the hotel driver Aria for a half day tour of the area , his expertise was invaluable. Breakfast was good but provided in the cafe adjoining the garden. Only critism was the lack of sunshine on our pool. Bit we would return without question.

Quaint hotel amongst a lovely garden setting, pool shared with second Room, convenient short walk to the main roads. Unique styled accommodation. Staff friendly. But unfortunately our experience seemingly different to many other reviews. The room has nowhere to store bags or clothes so for the duration of your stay you live out of a suitcase situated on the floor. Bathroom door didn’t lock so bedroom is never secured (despite raising concern on day one - we stayed four nights). Bathroom towels have had their day - discoloured and worn. Mosquitoes are a problem - despite area being fumigated while we were there. Room lighting is very dim - almost impractical. Breakfast was pretty bland - Bali coffee the only option offered. We chose to depart a day earlier than booked - at our cost.

Amazing accomodation . Nicely laid out rooms facing swimming pool. Breakfast restaurant is detached to the hotel and vouchers are provided to use the same.

Loved The Sender. Totally recommend. Pool a little difficult to get out of if you’re not fit as it just has a metal ladder but beautiful.
