Rooms were small but very clean and well laid out. Checkin was great. The lady who checked me in complimented my hat. Much appreciated. Loved the bar/restaurant upstairs - vast and friendly with great bar and menu.

This was a beautiful room in a very beautiful, dramatic setting. It was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. TV was a bit fiddly to get working but overall very nice. My only gripes were a) the fridge... too small and not cold enough, b) the tiled shower floor was extremely slippery when wet, be careful!!! and c) you had to call reception to turn the heating up or down, which they only seemed to do after about three attempts. Otherwise, great.

숙소 안내에 주방이 없었는데 입실 후 주방이 있어서 놀랬습니다. 주방이 있습니다. 주변에 마트가 없으니 트위첼이나 테카포에서 식자재를 준비해오세요. 위치, 시설 모두 만족스러웠습니다.

Comfortable room, very clean with amenities to cook or heat food. Eating options in July are limited because restaurants/ cafes apart from the Hermitage hotel are closed. Best to check this before booking in winter months. We enjoyed the experience of staying in the village at base of Mt Cook.

The receptionist was so rude, unhelpful and very unfriendly. Absolutely awful service, room was not ready even though it was after check in. No apology, no nothing just rudeness which set the mood. Facilities are poor, nothing there and sauna and spa not available. AGAIN no apology and expected me to return later in the rain to pick up key. NEVER STAY THERE!!!

It would be helpful to have a easy to see sign somewhere to let the customers know where to check in. I drove around and went to a different business then got advised that need to go to the hotel reception to check in. The outdoor areas could be better for a place with that price range. Indoor was good enough. Overall experience was good.

Lovely renovated room, a little small but for two people it was great. It was fabulous to stay right at Mt Cook National Park and this was a highlight. Dinner was great and had great choices. Amazing location.

Our stay was a highlight of our 8 day trip to the South Island. The room was clean. The heated floor was a very nice touch. The shower was generous in size. The restaurant staff were friendly. Our only complaint was that the check in process was lengthy as there was only one staff member on the desk - he needed some help!!
