Charming hotel with a superb location - short walks from central train station; to Hohensalzburg Fortress and everything else in between! Spacious room and beds. Any person could have walked right into the hotel and taken your luggage with no staff member seeing. The room was spacious, comfortable and cosy, and the cleaners did a great job keeping it very clean. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We only had breakfast once, but it was nice. The only small downside was the lack of a safe in our room. We were told the room had been recently refurbished and that a safe could not be fitted into the new design. An alternative was to leave valuables with the reception, which was only staffed until 6 pm each day, so this was not always convenient. Thankfully, our valuables were fine, and this did not take away from what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.
