The owner, Carmen was so amazing. She made me feel welcome. Area isn’t around tourist attractions, it’s very quiet at night. I would definitely come back here my next visit to Puerto Rico.

Fair for price, located in a good spot quick access to old san juan and san juan but got louder at night and wouldn't recommend for solo female traveler.

We did not even stay in property. Area was unsafe

The area is a bit rough but perfect for an overnight stay. A quick shower, day light and off to the next town. I’m under the impression the bar downstairs is bringing in the revenue for the hostel. It was very sketchy to walk into a bar and ask for room keys. The lady was pleasant enough but it definitely threw me off. The room was large with 2 full size beds and a modern bathroom. I would stay again in an emergency.
Vanessa, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was clean. Towels were nice. Sheets were ok. Extra sheet was very soft. Hand/bath soaps were appreciated. AC was good (although hot upon arrival.). Check-in was confusing and neighbor had to help even though we called called/contacted our arrival ahead of time. Check-in would’ve been quick and easy if host had simply texted the codes to us ahead of time.

I really enjoyed the people that helped us with the check in. They had an individual assist with our luggage. They made sure we were satisfied our accommodations. This is a nice quaint place back off the path. Highly recommend this place. The only issue is that transportation is extremely limited.
Dustin, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is not a place for picky people. The hotel is located in a ghetto area. The check in is done in a bodega on the first floor of the building and depending on the day, it might be difficult to get a hold of the person in charge. There are some very steep steps to go up to the hotel room area. The room however is pretty ok, the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, but it was not bad overall. It is a cheap hotel and thats exactly what u get. But given its location, 7 minute drive to the coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot. I'd say that it's a great stay if youre just looking for a place to stay close to the convention center or coliseum.

BE AWARE there is no lobby for this place so if you're coming in from the airport to Puerto Rico and it's about 2 am in the morning you may be shocked. The property was decent and everything but the Internet doesn't extend to every room.
Jaydah, 8-night trip

2/10 Poor

I’m Puerto Rican and I came to visit some family, the place was so unsafe, there was no office that I can go to check in, number to call, I had to ask the person at the bar/store for information about the room, she called the owner and the owner was very unprofessional the information to my room wasn’t discreet at all the person in charge was very unorganized the bathroom in the room was dirty, parking area was not safe, over all I ended up not even staying there and the money was not refundable zero stars
Carmen, 6-night trip

8/10 Very good

Dont expect 5 star (Marriotte) quality service. Its an economy hotel meant for people who want a cheaper stay in. you MUST known the spanish language to speak to the people at the store downstairs. A lady will guide you to your room. The stairs in the entrance smells kinda funny. Other then that, you will have a decent stay in.

Please review this area. Thanks

The place look unsafe. No where to park. No one to ask questions. I use hotel.com for the convenience and I trust their selection however this was a scary place for a women traveling by myself.

6/10 Good

It was cheap- wasn’t expecting much. Room was clean and quiet. Check in was a little confusing since lady didn’t speak English and I arrived after hours
Ryan, 5-night trip

Didn't like the fact that there was no hot water for any of the rooms in this hotel. Will definitely be staying somewhere better next time.

I stop to sleep my last night vacation near the airport, but have a bar under the hotel, the music is loud enough to shake the room. No way you can rest before go to airport 5:00 am to get my flight.
