Oaks Sydney Hyde Park Suites

On arrival I was not explained properly about how to access the hotel from the car park. I got into the car park but could not find the guests lift, I used the service lift. The hall where my room was in had a terrible odour of food cooking and the smell was far from nice. The floor was not cleaned properly, there was mould in the bottom of the shower, the bed had hair in it and the mattress so uncomfortable I was up at 4am because I could not longer lay in the bed. It was disgusting how it got it’s 4 star rating is beyond me, it would be a 3 possibly a 3.5 at a stretch. I’d never stay there again, I’d prefer to sleep in my car than stay in this establishment again.

Suited me well. 5 minutes walk to city and 1 minute to colorful Oxford St. Full kitchen was excellent. Beds on the soft side. Small bathroom but plenty of strong hot water. Supermarket and train station only 3 mins walk. All front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a fantastic stay with my partner for a date night in the city. The staff were super helpful and were happy to cater to any of our requests. The view was great and the room was perfect.

The room is very nice as was the view. The only issue and it was a big one was that the shower had so much build up on the shower head that there was only a very very small handful of the streams of water working which made it impossible to have a shower so ended up having to use the tap in the bath which I was not impressed with.
