This place is very basic and noisy with main road outside. Toilet and shower very tiny you have to squeeze in - shower has only cold water and only a trickle of water and almost on top of the toilet. No soap provided and had to ask for toilet paper as there was none. A very noisy air conditioner and dogs barking outside the room. I was in a bungalow room.

I spent one month and this place and felt like home. The owners and the staff are lovely ! I pretty recommend it if you are travelling on a budget and looking a quite private room.

I was accommodated in the interior part of the homestay where there’s a kitchen that I think it doesn’t used it anymore. I would always pass by a lot of big basins and empty Gallons scattered and an empty mineral water bottles which accordingly, the owner doesn’t want to disposed it. There’s a dog tied up in front of my door. I charge my phone outside of my room, coz the outlet doesn’t work. There’s a lot of mosquitoes inside my room. But the things that I really don’t like with the said homestay is that the owner was rude. My first day was a dismay and I regret why I choose Moonlight Homestay when, I can afford to get a nice Hotel. The owner is selective or bias coz she favours and attend immediately to the needs of foreigners. I didn’t finish my stay in Moonlight coz I transferred Hotel on my 3rd day. I didn’t ask for a refund.

I had an amazing time at this homestay and was made to feel very welcome. The place is run by super friendly Vivian who shared lots of good local knowledge, helped arrange many things, and cooked delicious breakfasts. Her son does surfing lessons which I tried for the first time, and I can totally recommend him. They can also arrange very cheap motorbike rental. They have some friendly dogs and cats so if you are an animal lover this place would really suit you. The room was very clean and quiet in the evenings. I would be happy to recommend this place to others.

upon check-in, the owner denied any link with hotels.com, our reservation was accepted only after ours of waiting. the owner promised us refund but never did as we opted to stay on their dormitory room instead of the two rooms we reserved as said rooms were very small. you have to drive on a badly maintained rough road to reach the place. not the accommodation we expected based on the price
