I love staying in boutique hotels with lots of character and the restaurant bar was a great place to grab a bite. My room was very spacious. My only challenge was the curtains were very light weight. I need to sleep in a fully dark room so my sleep wasn’t great and the street noise was non stop.

The interior is lovely! It really takes you back to a different time. I love hotel rooms that have grace and charm and this hotel definitely has that. The large windows and the high ceilings make it a bright and airy room. Lots of classic touches, including antique furniture, antique lamps, as well as large clawfoot bathtub (at least my room had one). The bar is gorgeous and a lovely place to have a cocktail before dinner. The staff is efficient and friendly, and they move around quite silently so you can almost feel like you’re a guest in their home.

Staff attentive and accommodating. Rooms are beautiful and cozy. In close proximity to several attractions and fine restaurants. Rocco's salad and the greens were excellent. Husband raved about the mussels.

There were stains on the seating in the room and the tub had a used soap bar.
There's no towel rack, nowhere to put soap/shampoo except a small ledge by the shower knobs or the windowsill. As a clawfoot tub, water splashed out because these spots were outside the shower curtain. The shower leaked, so we turned the water line on and off to shower.
The bedding had not been changed and had stains/hair clearly visible on it. We called because we couldn't find on-site staff. It took over an hour to get new sheets after calling. The staff person was very kind and apologetic, it just took a long time at 11pm.
The parking lot is small. The dining room patrons used the lot, leaving no spots when we arrived one evening. Again, the staff were kind and apologetic, and had a car moved to make room when we told them.
We were told housekeeping is only by request, but the housekeeper walked in while we were there. The housekeeper said they were told the day before the room needed to be cleaned, implying that it wasn't cleaned before we arrived.
The bed is on wheels and has no headboard, we kept having to push it back up against the wall.
The old charm of the hotel is nice, there just needs to be some extra work put in to make the room more comfortable. They are addressing the cleaning issue (the new housekeeper seems great), and everyone on staff was really nice to us when we shared our issues. The location is really nice depending on interests.

The rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable bed, spacious and inviting sitting room, and I love the old bathroom fixtures. They provide both an electric heater and a fan.
The food is quite good, the wine is ok. There's a very nice courtyard which can be noisy if there's a crowd.
Someone was smoking frequently somewhere, which filtered into my room, I didn't check into it.

What an amazing place! We ended up here sort of by accident - our other accommodations fell through, so we pulled up Google Maps to find this gem and checked in the same day. The rooms are gorgeous, and the soaking tub was big. There’s a great Italian restaurant downstairs that makes the whole house smell delightful.

The room was lovely. The staff were terrific. There are a few things that could be done to make the room even more comfortable. First, it would be good to put in the sink in the bathroom a connector between the hot and the cold water. The shower could also use some help with access to the faucets while trying to keep shower curtain closed. The charm of the clawfoot tub is diminished by the difficulty in using the shower. It would also be good to add some towel hangers.

The bathrooms could come with instructions on how to use the shower/bath. Could use instructions for Roku or at least update them for immediate guest use. Room service should not leave supplies outside of someones door as when we went to leave for a day out we were greeted by a bunch of cleaning supplies and a swiffer literally leaning on the other side of our door. Finally, better parking situation as we had to twist and turn our way out of the parking lot as too many cars were crammed in.
