Great room. Great view, but... upon arriving at the hotel at 5:15 we were given drink comp cards that had to be used by 7. We were told that bell hops were readily available. After finding no staff and no carts we eventually got a cart from another guest. I got my wife and our child and half of our luggage to the room and went back to retrieve the rest.
My wife discovered a massive amount of trash in a closet, that the phones don't work, the safe doesn't work and the TV has only local channels. Also the WiFi doesn't support our Roku.
While she was dealing with all that I went back into the giant mess that is the Embassy Suites' parking bay, where a traffic jam ensued with all the other guests having to figure out their luggage without carts and a few staff members avoiding eye contact. Upon leaving the parking bay, you are ejected going northbound and have to circle several blocks to get back to the parking garage. There's a valet right outside for $20 a night. They informed me they're not allowed to do business with the Embassy Suites. He directs me to the Embassy Suites' parking which is $46 a night. I can't get there because of all the cars in the way, with confused guests wandering about looking for carts.
I finally park and make it up to the room, where maintenance, although very personable, has not been able to fix the safe. Or the TV. Or the phones. And they walked right past the mountain of trash my wife had cleaned from the room.
