The room 2 Queen, 1 Bath, ground floor. The mattresses appeared older, stained. General musty smell that A/C reduced, but didn't completely remove while we were there. Not great for the chronic respiratory issues. Hinge over part of security bolt on the door was broken in half, loosely screwed into the wall. 3 adults and 1 child (7 y.o.) on reservation, towels in bathroom for only 3 people. The in room coffee maker failed to work. There were grimy places along the bases. Room gave feeling of needing a deep cleaning. Pool area: grimy, black film on pool bottom. Pool is NOT deep, 3ft (shallow end) to 5 ft (deep end.) Hot tub was out of order. It may be the type of carpet, but in general the carpeted floors felt crunchy. Might need a good shampoo? Breakfast area looked generally clean, except for the mold in the interior of the milk/yogurt refrigerator. Bottom corner, left side in back. Eggs were powdered type, typical of economy hotels. A lot of Wheat, gluten, and carbohydrate offerings. Anyone with dietary concerns may want to plan to go to a restaurant. Reservations were at reduced rate, but I still expect cleanliness, amenities to work and be in good repair.
