Indigo is our preferred hotel when we visit Atlanta. This stay, however, was different.
After checking in, my husband and I got dressed to attend an event. We returned around 11:30 and got dressed for bed. Around midnight, the heating unit began clicking. This lasted all night and continued through check out the next morning. Needless to say, we didn’t get any sleep.
I spoke with the person at the front desk regarding the issue and even provided her with video as proof. She said the hotel had been having trouble with their unit since it’s getting colder. Although she was very polite and apologetic, she didn’t offer anything to rectify the problem— no credit for a future stay or any type of reimbursement.
I’m assuming the hotel is also very short staffed. It took us an hour to be served breakfast that we purchased as a part of our stay.
Again, staff was very apologetic and polite.
