La prima sera mi è stata sostituita la camera perché il riscaldamento non funzionava, la reception era sempre vuota. Per parlare con il personale sono dovuto andare al bar affianco come consigliato da altri ospiti

Dit is alles behalve een hotel. Zeer oud, onvriendelijke personeel, van ontbijt kan je niet spreken, en eten is echt 0,0! Ik schrijf niet vaak een negatieve review, maar ik moest hier iets laten weten. Je hoort alles van de straat en andere kamers/gang.

Hôtel à fuir… Sauf si vous aimez les surprises. La “suite”, (oui, ils osent l’appeler comme ça) est équipée d’un splendide clic‑clac. Un choix audacieux pour un hôtel. En 25 ans de déplacements, c’est une première. Bravo pour l’innovation. Salle de bain sous mansarde : parfaite si vous rêvez d’un bain allongé, parce que debout ou accroupi c’est impossible, c’est réservé aux contorsionnistes. Ambiance sonore assurée grâce à un sifflement continu toute la nuit. Je vais à l’accueil dans un 1er temps : plus de chambres. J’appelle pour le bruit dans un 2nd temps : “On vous envoie quelqu’un”. J’attends encore. Petit dej : un chocolat chaud, un croissant et un jus d’orange frais… et c’est tout. En résumé : une expérience mémorable. À éviter.

Hotel familial et accueillant

Chambre très propre et agréable…Le personnel est très gentil et très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est complet (pain frais, viennoiseries, jus d’orange pressé, yaourt, miel, beurre, confiture, pâte à tartiner). Servi entre 6h et 11h. Quartier animé et avec commerces.

Chambre sous les toits, sous pente avec canapé lit, salle de bain sous pente avec hauteur au dessus de la baignoire insuffisante (environ 1m) donc pas pratique. La climatisation dysfonctionne. Hôtel propre, coquet, rénové (déco actuelle) et calme. Personnel accueillant et disponible.

Hi, well, we’d recommend this place for some who may be from France, speak French and want to be in a homely environment out of tourists and in Paris,- far from the Metro, Centre and hassle with crowds. But we were not. We were tourists. The place is not about being a hotel, it is being a bar/coffee place for the locals. Some very friendly stuff late in the evening when they all sit and enjoy the drinks. But boy. Morning comes, no one smiles there, no one wants to service you. We payed more than we had to for three morning breakfasts. When you come down there in the morning for your pety dejanner you don't get to choose anything. You sit at the table and if you lucky an unhappy waiter will come and tell you: no, we don't have cheese or eggs or salami. Then you ll get a warmish kind of coffee and one curwasson to share for two of you. And with the attitude: you are lucky to get this from me. So, we stopped this humaliation after the second morning. Keep the money, thank you very much. But the place is in an alright area and no tourists are there and you can take a bus 20 mins drive to the nearest Metro. So, if you want to feel like you in real Paris may be it is a place for you

l'hotel est propre et bien rénové je déconseille la chambre sous les toits,grande chambre 2 lits 140, mais la hauteur sous plafond est trop basse, trés difficile de se doucher Pour la seconde nuit j'ai pu avoir une seconde chambre plus agréable

Nous avions réservé a l'hotel Le Theatre et en arrivant surprise... On nous a logé dans l'hotel Val d'Or a coté, qui est beaucoup moins beau que sur les photos vues sur internet...

They did not have my reservation when I arrived. The reception area, which is a cafe, was filled with odd-looking, somewhat threatening men and no women. The electric outlet in the room did not work nor did the house telephone nor did the toilet. There appeared to be almost no staff, and it was more like a flop-house than a hotel. The neighborhood felt unsafe, and the hotel made no effort to create a welcoming environment. I found it necessary to leave the hotel and am out the 600 euros paid for the room. Do not stay here. Expedia should be more responsible on what hotels it allows to use its website.

Do not stay here - not worth it

When we arrived they did not have our reservation. We also paid for breakfast but they tried to get us to pay for this again. Do not bother paying for breakfast because the price at booking is different to what they actually charge. You probably will not get any breakfast anyway because there are no staff members. During our stay we did not come across any staff members. No one was at the front desk at any time. The hotel felt very unsafe. We wanted to leave straight away but we did not have anywhere else to go. We booked the hotel for 11 nights but ended up leaving after 5 nights. The nights that we did stay we did not feel comfortable. There was no WiFi, the phone did not work either. The walls are so thin that you can hear the person in the next room using the bathroom. The room was only cleaned twice during our stay. The cleaner said that she would come back on one occasion but never did They also say that they can speak English and French but we did not come across anyone who could speak English. The amenities that were supposed to come with the room were not provided. There was no Coffee/tea maker, electric kettle, 24-hour room service, and free bottled water. These items were all in the itinerary but nothing was provided. The hotel has a restaurant underneath so it is loud and you will not get a good nights sleep here. I also had to use my own clothes as a duvet as the state of the bedding was awful. There were stains everywhere.
