Nice hotel in a secluded location, ideally placed to visit the vineyards and hilltop villages of the region.
Plenty of parking space right next to the living areas, although it would be good if they laid a few paving stones from there to the main area, as you will have to carry your suitcases all the way if you don’t want to damage its wheels on the gravel, or pack small
And the approach road to the Jas is in a poor state and could do with fixing up.
Once you are in though, it’s all good. Rooms are well turned out and spacious; ours had a large bathroom and a walk-in shower, the only minor downside being that we couldn’t get the towel heater to work which meant damp towels throughout.
The overall size of the property means that you will never feel crammed in with other guests.
Dinner was both of a high quality and reasonably priced, and service was very attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was varied and well worth its price as well.
All in all a very enjoyable experience to be recommended.
