Muy mal servicio nunca está nadie en el lobby para atenderte . Está sucio todo , las habitaciones, la piscina , el pasillo etc. muy feo hotel . Y la tina de hidromasaje no funcionaba.

There was no shower curtain. Was advised I could come down to get one to put up myself. They double charged my card and the male at the front desk was extremely rude when I brought the issue to him. The room was extremely nice overall. Bed comfortable and it was very clean in the room. It was difficult to find where to check in. Due to check in is at the comfort inn not at the actual hotel itself.

Do not use this hotel! It doesn't have a lobby. You must check in at the hotel next door. It is located behind that hotel. Lighting is very bad - feels like you're in a dark alley you don't belong in. It looks like you're in Compton, CA. A few residents were outside their units - one couple had a mean looking pitbull. (I have a pitbull that's very sweet, so I can say that.) I did not feel comfortable at all getting out of my car. I immediately left the property and found another hotel. Then I needed to dispute the charge through Visa. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

No clean towels, bed bugs, drug activity and construction every where on and in building. No batteries in the remote for tv, finally got those just to find out it's was wrong remote. Supposedly got right one, only was able to get one channel of Chicago news. Called front desk and was told will be there in a few minutes. After 15, went out and came back to find they had been in the room without my knowledge or consent. There was no office. Front of building including restaurant appeared shut down for renovations. No sign out front. Trashy people hanging around various places outside, so I left and found another place to stay.

The hotel is no longer called Michigan City Inn. It’s now a Comfort Inn and it’s in separate need of upgrade, especially the exterior. Based on the outside of the place we would not have chosen to stay here except for the fact that our reservation was non refundable. It’s shabby, needs paint outside and inside. The ice machine is new and wasn’t even turned on when we arrived but the manager turned it on and it was full by the next morning. The room needed painting especially around the window but the window was new (still had plastic and a sticker on it). It was a comfortable room but there was nothing soundproof about it. The towels were nice and soft. The room smelled like some type of incense which was obnoxious but we became accustomed to it after a while. The lobby reeked of bleach. Slept in so we did not visit the breakfast area.

Pool view rooms are the best and the atmosphere for swimming is perfect. The RAMADA is in my opinion the best overall design and feel for a retreat to a hot tub and pool with family and or buisness as number 1 priority to impress & enjoy!
