Lovely quiet village, ideal location near London and Brighton. We enjoyed the bistro below for a few drinks ( we would recommend booking a table prior if you want to order food) , we also visited the new Inn up the road which was homely and friendly

Perfect location for us when meeting friends in the area. Having eaten in Morleys in the past (which is excellent) we were a little disappointed with the rooms. It was small and looked well used and in need of deep clean. Self check in was extremely easy and bed v comfortable. Overall decent value for money.

The shower is so small , when you drop the soap you need to open the shower door and set out of the shower to pick up the soap , not a fat person . The heating was very unpredictable , sometimes hot sometimes cold, it was very cold in the room and we borrowed blankets from family . The whole room needs a up date of paint , side tables beside the bed are small bed breakfast tables , very unstable . Breakfast consists on pot porridge that was yuck . I will never recommend this place to any family .

Bathroom was dirty in parts. Found the door pin system difficult. Booked a twin which was turned into a double two weeks before. Travelling with my adult son, not a partner so this was uncomfortable. Hot water took forever to come out of the taps and the shower was temperamental. Orange juice and porridge was a nice touch. Waking up to the church bells was nice. It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t dreadful 5/10
