Having read the trip advisor reviews I was a little apprehensive before I arrived. What I found was a basic but very adequate apartment. The kitchen area and appliances were new and included a dish washer. The room hadn't been professionally cleaned between clients but was acceptably presented. The beds were on the hard side but OK. The walls are very thin. The corridors need cleaning more often.
The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. Note, there is an office in town at which you check in and collect keys, not from the reception area in the L'Edelweiss which is unmanned. There is no left luggage facility, but the Sport Brun ski shop in the square offers this facility (6€/bag). The accomodation does not include bed linen or towels, so I bought my own, I can't comment on the quality of the ones offered for rent. There were clean pillows and extra blankets supplied though. I did not know how to switch on the heaters in the room and it was a "cool" on the first night. It transpires that there is a hidden switch behind the heater that you need to switch on as well as the more obvious on/off button on the top. The bath was missing a plug and the front door handle was very loose. I reported these minor issues the next day, and they were sorted almost immediately. The location of the building is convenient for the High Street and the Belle Etoille lift. The building is quite scruffy/grimey in places, but for the low rental price I thought it was within bounds and good value
