We stayed at Tropical Dive Resort in Bonaire for three days. The place is decent, but we did encounter a few minor issues during our stay. The flush tank filled very slowly, and the air conditioning didn’t cool well initially. However, once we mentioned this to Sylvia, she promptly assisted us, and a technician fixed the problem the next day. This resort may not be for everyone, as I expected a bit more given the price paid. The room cleaning service is only provided for stays longer than three days, and the WiFi was quite slow. Overall, it was an okay experience, but it may reflect standards typical of other accommodations in Bonaire.

Owners were great, however the cleaning staff was not. When the cleaner did come, she did not refill the toilet paper, change our beach towels and only provided 1 blanket for our 2 beds. We saw the cleaner not long after she was in our room and tried to give her the beach towel to change for us. She said in Spanish that she didn't speak English even though we saw her speaking English 30 minutes earlier. It was pretty rude and we were very nice to her when asking. With that said, Bonaire is beautiful and this isn't a 5 star resort or anything and we didn't expect that either.

Loved my stay here- Thank you to the owners Sylvia, Prisca and Roger! And to my dive guide instructor Geert you all made this trip amazing! I highly recommend Tropical Divers Resort for divers and travelers alike. The property here is peaceful and tidy and the you can’t beat the location a couple mins walk to the ocean.

A Tropical Treat

This place is a secret hideaway that feels like home in a tropical paradise setting. The owner wrs are extremely helpful and friendly. They own the divers school next door. The place is close to the airport and many attractions. I highly recommend this place.

Experience not up to my expectation for price paid

I think this resort's focus is mainly on the convenience of providing diving equipment and not so much on the quality of the rooms and experience while on premises. My experience there was okay overall. I would suggest that the housekeeping take down all glass light fixtures and clean the dead bugs(?) specks from them, dust the cobwebs and dust off of the AC (which is weak in operation compared to the other place that I stayed on the island) and from the ceiling. Beware of the *hard* divider in the middle of the twin beds put together in the room. Unfortunately both nights that stayed, I was awakened at 12midnight to 1:30am by a group of loud guests who were completely inconsiderate with the volume of their conversations at those hours. I realize that the resort can't control the behavior of their guests, but I would suggest writing deisgnated "quiet hours" into an agreement that must be signed upon check-in, and/or posted rules about that. I was unable to get the safe to work in my room (but that may have been me), and the furniture was quite dinged up. Also, I stayed at another resort on Bonaire that cost 36% less than this room, and the other place provided shampoo, conditioner, and bars of soap; Tropical Divers only provided one bottle of liquid handsoap at the sink—nothing else.

Family owned and run boutique hotel with Dive shop located on premise. Also had a dive check out pool plus a small pool to swim in and sit around and read your book. Very quiet and friendly. Owners couldn't do enough for you when asked.Only down side is no restaurants in the area other than one located next door primarily open for dinner and on the hi-end. 20-25 minute walk into town.

We had the most fabulous time visiting Bonaire and staying at Tropical Divers. Check in was friendly and simple. Within minutes we were all set up with our equipment and a plan for guided dives for the next day. The owners also signed us up for a park pass-a must in my book to support the island’s beauty. Our room was clean, large, and had everything that we needed including a set of dishes and a hot water kettle. What really stood out was the friendliness and kindness displayed by the staff. Even housekeeping, which comes every other day, were not intrusive and worked around our schedule. Peshka especially was never too busy to answer a question or give a suggestion. On the first day we were itching to get into the water ASAP and she gave us directions to a self guided dive site that was just perfect! Our dive guides were set up on a day by day basis, and they were always willing to take us wherever we wanted to go that day with safety in mind. Certain dive sites are more challenging than others for entrance/exit points, depending on the current, and they all ended up being a bit tricky with uneven footing. My recommendation is to follow the guide’s advice where it’s safe on that particular day-they know! We will absolutely return to spend more time with all of these wonderful people. We could not be happier.

Huone siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Muutama pieni puute korjattiin välittömästi. Siivous joka toinen päivä, ei viikonloppuna. Huoneessa ei ollut pöytää eikä tuolia. Ulkona terassilla oli pöytä ja tuolit, joten kahvit juotiin siellä. Ei ravintolaa eikä elintarvikemyyntiä, mutta hyvä sukelluskeskus. Vaatimaton allasalue. Lähin ranta oli 5 min kävelymatkan päässä. Käytännössä tällä rannalla oli 2-3 metrin hiekkakaistale meren rantakorallin ja asutuksen rantavallin välissä. Veteen saattoi mennä yhdestä kohdasta ja suosittelen uintitossuja. Kunnollinen hiekkaranta löytyi 30 min kävelymatkan päässä. Kummallakin rannalla kannatti snorklata, kaloja oli paljon. Keskustaan käveli n. 25 min. Lähin supermarket 15 min kävelymatkan päässä, lähin illallisravintola ihan vieressä, toiseen n 10 min kävely.
