A brilliant location for a trip to the Assembly Rooms or Belgrave Music Club. The pub is good and you get 15% discount. It doesn't do food though. Location is the big+

When I booked I didn’t realise the room was above a bar, however, it was quieter than staying at a Travelodge or Premiere Inn even though we stayed on a Friday evening. The room was very well presented and had adequate facilities. Ideally located just outside of the Town Centre. We will definitely stay again in future.

Staff went above and beyond, especially the bar staff, he was absolutely lush to talk to and have a laugh with, we got so distracted at the bar we had to go before seeing our room which now thinking I wish we really did. The room itself was grubby, paint was breaking everywhere, the decor was shabby and dark. The TV was from the stone age and barley worked but when it did finally come on there was nothing to play as it wasn't connected to anything. It didn't support internet and had no Ariel to plug into. When we got back to the hotel from our night out we had to come in through the back and climb a hazardous death trap of a stair case

2/10 Mediocre

Got no sleep due to loudness, floors need a good clean, bed looked like it had been slept in and had stained sheet! I slept in the sofa bed as it wasn’t comfy, bath was filthy and it looked someone had had a Shave over the bathroom sink and it wasn’t cleaned at all I have photos.

Best place to stay in Leeds on a budget

We stay there every time we go to Leeds, close to everything, friendly and welcoming staff, clean and tidy, cheaper than most in Leeds, would highly recommend the Wrens

Amazing night stay

Was amazing room, with a lot of space, bathroom was lovely and clean, bed so comfortable and a beautiful big window too look out into Leeds, there was a pub open next door but couldn’t really hear them which was great

Friendly staff. Clean room and comfortable bed. Lots of privacy despite being above the pub. Our room is facing the street, so there was some random noise but didn't bother us much. Walkable to city center with lots of food and shopping choices. Leeds has developed so many malls with luxury brands.

Nice Hotel

Stayed one night, hotel is in a very good spot for everything. Room was quite big and acceptable over a bar/pub which they offer a discount on drinks for staying with them.

Great Pub Inn

I arrived early so couldn’t check in however I left my luggage at the bar and when I came back it was in my room! That was really helpful. Bar staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Easy access for the First Direct Arena. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom needs upgrading.

A basic type of 'above the pub' accommodation - all you need is there, including ear plugs which do come in handy at night, but the room and bathroom are a bit shabby and could do with an update. A very convenient location, so it's ok for a night or two.

I wanted to leave my baggage in morning, but there is no staff in the hotel before check-in time, and then I cannot leave it. The hotel's staff and room are good.

Simon was really good, asked if I could have a room at the very top & he gave me the best one in the house. Can’t thank him enough. Would definitely stay again

Rooms looked nicer in the pictures. But really comfortable bed, in a really convenient location. And the booking warned it might be noisy but I had a great night's sleep...no complimentary ear plugs necessary.
