Room 9 clean, however I don't recommend, sadly, and I generally like to support small places. The motel I wanted to book was fully occupied, but this was one with lots of vacant rooms (school holidays). We woke up to ant colony walking up bedroom wall beside luggage. Had seen ants in bathroom day before so should have guessed. Owner seemed surprised when I showed him all the dead ants I sprayed but later he mentioned opening up under the bath to check for ants the week before and finding none (would you go to all that trouble and have bug spray under the sink already if you say it's never been an issue before?).
Kettle interior was also a very offputting dark brown, didnt use. If not for these things, it would be an average sort of 2-3 star, but I think a bit overpriced at $200 for one night.
