This is a lovely beachfront property. My husband and I stayed in the Stingray cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nice having the option of leaving windows open so we could hear the crashing waves or turning on the AC if the humidity was high. The staff was fantastic. I did a lot of research for our trip to Belize and just really couldn't find a place that seemed more appealing in our price range than Sleeping Giant. I was not disappointed. The resort is located a 5-min boat ride away from San Pedro and the resort provided a boat service that was always available at 15-20 mins notice, and the boat captain was highly responsive and helpful, even showing us specific shops in San Pedro that we needed, so we didn't get lost. Best vacation ever! A true home away from home at Playa de Sala from the moment I arrived with the staff greeting us, a welcome cocktail (that was inventive & delicious) and tour which led us to our beautiful room with AMAZING VIEWS! I stayed two weeks at Playa and loved every minute. The food from Salas kitchen is unparalleled on the island. I chose to eat all of my meals there after the 3rd day of bad food elsewhere. The whole place was amazing! The cabins were bare bones but clean and cute. We had a porch in the back right by the rainforest, but wished there had been comfy chairs to sit on instead of a small, hard bench. The bathrooms were clean with some interesting insect life to observe while sitting there. Showers were hot and good pressure. The Toucan Cafe up front was superb - we ate every meal there. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fridge and coffee maker are available for guests....

I stayed for my birthday in February and I will say it’s safe, clean, and perfect for solo or plus one traveling! You’re about 10 minutes from the city but the owner has amazing recommendations for drivers, food options, and excursions that she helps with if you ask! If I come back to Belize definitely will be back!

We loved Villas at Playa de Coco! The room configuration was great whether your traveling as a couple, with multiple friends, or it would make for a fantastic retreat. The property finishes are high quality, staff was friendly and helpful, semi private pool was lovely and the beach was immaculate. We had the best time and cant wait to go back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Turtle Inn. The staff is outstanding, and very responsive. The food was very fresh and we highly recommend trying the pizza! We reserved a beach front cabana, and it was huge with very high end furniture.

I arrived early in the day, and Colin was very responsive and understanding of my situation allowing me to have a room immediately. The room was comfortable and clean. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. The next day, he even gave us a ride to the airport. His personalized attention meant a lot to me. Thank you to Colin and to the Bomboleo Inn!

I always enjoy my stay here. They even set up birthday decorations in the room last minute. All the staff is always very nice and welcoming as well.

Great stay! Perfect location, experience and staff! My room was connected - with locked door between - the room next door, and you could hear everything going on next door.

Cute hotel that gives quick access to San Ignacio without being in the center of town. The property is sweet and the staff are super helpful and nice.
