"We loved this area of Oslo—so cute and close to everything. Very quiet. Our room was perfect—aside from the cot which was uncomfortable for our grandson. The bed was great. We really used the little kitchen too since there was a grocery store nearby. It wasn't hot and that was good because I don’t think the room had air conditioning. Check-in and communication was super easy! "

"We had an excellent stay at Hotel Sommerro. The staff is attentive and helpful, and we were very pleased with the amenities in our room. The location is excellent with easy parking and all of downtown Oslo's attractions are just a short walk away. That all being said - you could disregard all that and just stay here for the breakfast alone. Hosted in their beautiful art deco bar, walking into the buffet area feels like entering the Chocolate Room in Willy Wonka's factory...never in my life...

"The room was above a bar and a pizza place. It was a little loud until 10pm The balcony was nice and quiet to sit and read. The room had what we need. Walk to Palace. We used the hop-on hop-off bus, stop in front of palace."
