"A simple request for an earlier checkin (regularly scheduled at 4pm!) was reluctantly accepted but only for one hour earlier, and with a 10 gbp fee! I refused. Soundproof is next to non-existent. My bed was leaned to one side. It is clean, and the breakfast (served only at 8) was delicious."

The bathroom was newly renovated and the tiles and fixtures are top quality--best shower in Scotland!
Well stocked coffee & tea station--specialty herbal teas and hot coco!
