"Clean hotel with nice friendly staff, clean bathrooms, the rooms need an upgrade though. The hotel is situated in an old building right in the middle of downtown Cairo which is a perfect location. The continental breakfast was poor. The elevator is old and unreliable. A good stay for the price."

"Wow, what an experience. After five days in Sharm El Sheikh with the kids, I was ready for some relaxed luxury and the Waldorf Astoria Cairo delivered exactly that. From the moment you arrive, you’re enveloped in a sense of calm, luxury and seamless convenience. The staff are absolutely exceptional. Warm, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, they go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. I really can’t praise them highly enough. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, understated yet luxurious, and incredibly comfortable throughout. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Cairo, and for a longer stay.
