What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.

We stayed for 5 days in Yangon, and the hotel was excellent. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and breakfast was delicious. But the best part is the service. All the staff is especially friendly and helpful. Mr. Htun, the owner, gave us several good recommendations for sights to see and very good restaurants. The hotel is quite comfortable with decent size rooms, premium bedding, a refrigerator and great AC. The hotel has been maintained quite well, but is a bit dated. The service is excellent and it offers a huge breakfast buffet. The best part of the hotel is that it is across the street from the people's park where one can walk on concrete paths under the canopy of trees. The rates are quite reasonable.

I loved staying at this hotel, and came back when I was leaving the country. The room is huge and very light, with windows you can open. The bed is also very large and you have a lot of desk space which is important to me as a solo traveller - and good wifi. Best of all is the breakfast - some of the best food I had in this country which has amazing food. And to eat in the rooftop bar with the air full of birds as the sun rises is a wonderful experience.

An excellent location that you can either walk around to see local life and to the famous Scott's Market or jump on a taxi to various attractions. As to the hotel itself, a buffet breakfast was excellent. We are happy with this hotel. We stayed there for 2 weeks. Every morning, we have excellent breakfast including variety of American food and Burmese food such as monhinga, noodle soup, fresh and organic fruits, Indian food. Hotel staff are excellent. Cleanliness is number one reason to stay there. The room is large. Elevater is reliable. No issue for electricity. We are happy to see city view. We are pleased with warm/cold water for showering. The Hotel is quite new, so everything is working fine. There´s a manager responsible all the time, very polite. Friendly staff… Good ratio quality/price.

Comfortable and clean. Of the six or so places we stayed in Myanmar, it was definitely the best. The service also very good. The “Venus” message spa gave great messages for a reasonable price. I declined the “additional special services”, and was kinda surprised that such was politely offered. I guess the name “Venus” should have been a clue. Still, I would recommend it as the message was very good.

Staff is great and always willing to help. Room is basic, it comes with fridge and ac. Breakfast was decent in a mini buffet style. Good location in Yangon and on the eighth floor of a mixed use building. A lot of restaurants/street food/convenience stores around. Would stay again!

We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.
