"We able to checkin early for a small fee. Room was clean and good size. Shower was nice. Had shampoo conditioner and body wash. Sink was a little small for toiletries. Had a mini fridge and TV was fine. They stored our bags when leaving and concierge was very helpful. Very close to Millennial Park and had a great view for fireworks at Navy Pier. Close to the L if coming from Midway. A very nice stay"

"River Hotel is located right in the center, saves you lots of time for transportation. Hop-on-off bus is across, famous river walk is at your feet. Boat rides are in 5 min walking distance. Room was very clean, towels changed every day, a/c was relatively quiet and could be set at your liking. Amazing flowless check in and out, front desk staff very friendly and helpful as well. I have recommended this hotel to my friends."

"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. "Amazing place to see the sights of Chicago. Literally right across from the Bean. The staff was phenomenal and the room was spotless. The bed quality was top notch, as was the room service. Only quibble was that the shower dial was a bit faulty and would not stay at the desired setting makin the water hotter than we wanted. Other than that our experience was excellent. Highly recommended!!"
