We were visiting YSP and it was very easy from Friendship Hotel. There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance. We were always able to park at the back of the hotel.

"The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers.
It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well."

Other friends stayed down the road at Ye Olde Mustard Pot pub as well. The hosts at Stoneycroft Barn left us some delicious scones and prosecco which was a lovely touch too. Great access to Penistone and some lovely walks around."
