Avoid this property if you expect a legitimate hotel experience, basic cleanliness, or any form of customer care. Below is my detailed explanation.
1. Not a hotel. Upon arrival, I found a regular apartment building with an old “Hotel” sign, no reception, no staff, and no customer service. Access relied on a code hidden in an email; this felt more like an unmanaged Airbnb than a hotel rated above 8 points.
2. Serious privacy concerns. On the first floor, a wall-mounted lockbox contained multiple keys openly labeled with guest names and room numbers. This is a direct breach of privacy and completely unacceptable for any accommodation claiming to operate as a hotel.
3. Cleanliness far below hotel standards. When I opened the flat door, I encountered a cockroach—a clear sign of poor hygiene. The room showed heavy wear, lack of maintenance, and insufficient cleaning. No guest should have to question the sanitary conditions of a room they are expected to sleep in.
4. Misleading and unaccountable. This place is listed and priced as a hotel, but the reality does not match the listing. I reported everything to Hotels.com immediately and informed them I would not stay. Despite this, the property refused any refund or responsibility.
In conclusion, this is essentially a shared flat marketed as a hotel, offering none of the standards travelers reasonably expect. I strongly advise avoiding it if you expect a real hotel experience.
