Really enjoyed the 2-night stay here. Lovely lake, lovely surroundings, and the grilled lake tilapia delicious. Be careful using google maps, as it may guide you to a grazing field with no exit.

Hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel. Mais il y a un vrai problème de pression d’eau dans la chambre famille. L’accès se fait par une piste sur la dernière partie, mais ça ce fait facilement. Le personnel est adorable. La cuisine locale est simple mais très bonne. Enfin la vue sur le lac est exceptionnelle.

Absolutely loved this property. One of my favorite places that I stayed in Rwanda. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Absolutely gorgeous view and loved that they had a dock I could take a dip in Lake Kivu. The cottages themselves were very cozy and clean. Highly recommend this property for any visitors near Kibuye.

Rwiza Village is a bit out of the way from Kibuye, but it is well worth the trek! Beautiful and relaxing views. While the hotel is a bit basic in terms of amenities, you won't need anything more than what they provide. Truly, this place is a great place when you want to just escape the everyday and relax.

Rwiza Village is in a lovely location. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms have fantastic views. However, the very last bit of the drive is impossible in a 2-wheel drive it it has been raining and the showers are not in very good condition. Overall a great place to stay though :)

The staff at this property were extremely nice and friendly. The journey from Kigali however was stressful. I recommend renting a jeep or a car with high tires as the roads leading to the accommodation are bad.

Very nice lost place. But you have to write explecid that you have a safe route to the hotel with the car and maybe you put it on your hotel description because the GPS shows very bad roads if you don'r know it. Bute without this it's really a beautiful place.

It was lovely location with wonderful views. Good food. But I told management that it should be advertised as not user friendly for disabled people which I am I would never have booked there if I had realised how hard it would be for me to get anywhere. I never made it to the lake.

The view from the balcony of each cabin is to die for!!! The staff extremely friendly! Food in the restaurelant limited but tasty and very reasonably priced. Now the bad news. Inside the cabins everything is so tired to say the least.The electric sockets practically hanging out. The shower so small you can hardly turn round ( and i am a slim guy). It looks to me like the owner is giving up on it... Such a shame as i really wanted to give high rating...

I have already stayed at Rwiza Village twice. Once three years ago and once two years ago. Unfortunately, the condition of the cabins has deteriorated a lot and urgently needs renovation or improvement. The furnishings are also outdated. A chair broke straight away, the mosquito net had lots of holes and the toilet flush didn't work. It has great potential, but please refurbish once soon.

Unexpectedly beautiful

Beautiful view, comfortable accomodations, clean, hot water and well situated in Kibuye. It’s a bit hard to find as Google maps redirects us to broken down roads and unusable ones, so call the place for directions, once Google gets the right road, it will direct you properly. There is a 5 minutes part to the road that is harder to naviguate but I had a CRV and drove very slowly and all was fine. You can get cheap moto taxis to go to town. Food was ok, they were out of a couple of things so i ended up going in town for dinner but breakfast was good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d go back again! Thank you!

Good place for a get-away weekend

We had a very good time, the rooms (every room is an individual little house) are simple but with a beautiful view on the lake. Staff is very friendly and food and drinks in the restaurant are reasonably priced. Food is good but selection a bit narrow. The only minor negative aspect is the bathroom, it's clean but very tiny and not much water coming from the shower.
