The mattress was so comfortable. I was not expecting the bed to be as comfortable as it was. The room size was good. Hot water in shower. Liked that there is a sitting room for guests to enjoy. There was also a mini kitchen available for all guests to utilize. We stayed for one night while traveling through the area. This is an old hotel that I think is a hidden gem.

Clean bedroom with ensuite and friendly staff at reception and the restaurant. The menu was varied and the food quality good, with a good range of non-alcoholic beers. I slept with the window open as the plug-in fan could only be set for up to 2hrs; it would've been inconvenient to wake up too hot every 2 hrs and restart it. My room was above the car park and disco, which thankfully finished at 10pm on a Saturday.

Great place to spend a long weekend, short walk to cafe's and if you needed to catch to train just over the road, it was quiet and staff were lovely, I will be back at some stage, the only thing I would say, you need to put a TV in the rooms, other wise a great find for us
