If you are looking for a prime location while visiting Cairo this is the place. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel but very noisy. Bring ear plugs.

Very clean hotel with a great attention to details, specially Amina from the cleaning crew, very friendly staff, great breakfast and excellent location. This is my second time at this hotel, and I will be back again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, which was a major plus. However, the hotel itself feels outdated, and the area can be quite noisy, which impacted our stay. Additionally, the lack of alcoholic beverages available on the property was a disappointment. While the staff were friendly, the overall experience could be enhanced with some updates to the facilities and amenities

Location is perfect for sightseeing, ATMs are 400 feet away (cheaper than the airport), room was clean and wonderful, bed was very comfortable, A/C was cold, staff were very friendly, and the breakfast had a wide selection. I most definitely staying there when I return to Cairo next year. And there is a convenience store open 24/7 within 500 feet. Most tour companies will pick you up from this hotel.

6/10 Good

This property is overpriced. Several 4 and five star hotels are only $20 to $40 more per night in the same area. Half the staff doesn’t speak English and always looking for tips including the security guards at the front door pretending to ask questions to protect tourist. The rooms are very large but need to be remodeled. We were a total of 8 people and we all have the same feedback.
Jacques, 10-night trip

8/10 Very good

Still a good deal.

It was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, can’t complain. 2 things did bother me - there was a fly in our bedroom that bugged the hell out of us; the shower door was broken and it was a challenge to open and close it.

6/10 Good

Close to museum. Nice hotel with nice breakfast included. Dinner price is also reasonable. Room is very roomy and comfortable. However they did not have cloth hangers in the room. It took us several times to request and finally someone brought us just three. Also street noise at night can be troublesome for some people.

We didn’t like the smell of cigarettes smoke.

The hotel situited in thw busy downtown with traffic noises all day and night. After midnight when the traffic noise slightly calm down, it was stray dogs barking all night . If you want a sound sleep, stay away from this hotel. The hotel room looks very tired, old furniture, old duvet and very old duvet cover which does not fit the duvet . The shower room design was very bad the water could not drain in properly and left the shower room flood after ever use. Breakfast was very boring and very mean. The hotel lobby area was very smelly with smoke. The receptioistsand staff are ok , but not particularly friendly at all. Overall , the whole hotel room needs upgrading . It is not 3 star. Best at 2 star. I will never cone back to stay.

Were given free upgrade to suite, 14th floor, with balcony and amazing view over the museum, Tahrir Square, the Nile. Suite is spacious and decotated in retro style. Reception staff helpful, helped with problem we had. Breakfast plentiful, quite tasty. Excellent location across museum, some small grocery shops and exchange shops a few steps away). About 5 minutes in foot there's a long busy shopping street (for locals) that sort of ends at a square with many cafes and some local ,cheap, and clean shawarma/falafel places). Metro station across Hotel. Also a restaurant with some yummy European dishes inside hotel, serves until 23:00. Internet was quite good. However, Suite was not in best condition. Bathroom door closed with a lot of shoving, Balcony door did not close properly, letting cold in, AC did not function, wallpaper on balcony coming off. Housekeeping did not come throughout the three nights were there.(everry day we left around 11 am and returned around 11pm, with the sign of 'make up my room' hanging outside.). So no fresh towels, coffee or water. Only one towel per person. Luggage storage is not really safe, suitcases are kept in the lobby.

The staff are amazing and helped us a lot! My parents are also in the same hotel, they were a great help when my dad fell and we got him admitted to the hospital… they’re so helpful and making sure everything is available for my dad to recover faster! Breakfast food is so delicious! If i didn’t have to go back for work or my daughter’s school, i would have extended our stay longer! We will definitely be coming back!

Mostly enjoyed this stay. It was January so the room was a bit cold. the hotel only has cooling, not heating. smoking is allowed inside the lobby, but that's many places. breakfast was very very good. area was safe and walkable. the street noise is a thing, but quiets after about 11pm.

Peter, 3-night trip

Great location at a great price with friendly, helpful staff. It is right in the heart of downtown so, if you can't sleep with horns honking, you should bring ear plugs. The noise did not bother me.
Susan, 7-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Dated (1970's decor - everything works!) near the centre of Cairo; 2 mins walk from the Egyptian Museum/ Metro. Friendly staff and close to several tour operators who will take you on day trips - if required. No evening meal in the restaurant - though coffee house on site, and several restaurant's nearby
Jonathan Kester, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good lacation, good service, bad breakfast, a little bit noisy in night.
2-night trip

6/10 Good

Furniture is outdated and in need of repair, a male at the reception area is very unhelpful gives the wrong information, The elevator on the 10th floor down button does not work prepare to wait at least five minutes to go down. House cleaning staff are excellent, Great location
Saleem, 7-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel is quite central to many attractions and dining options. Most places are within a 15 min radius. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. We started only one night so can’t comment on the housekeeping. The breakfast was not great but good. The only reason I gave this hotel a three star is the false advertisement on the hotel main image. I booked it thinking I’ll be able to see the Nile river. When I showed the photo on the site, they said I can see this from many rooftops in the city but not this hotel. That was a disappointment.
